Police Investigating Alleged Attempted Robbery In Swissvale

SWISSVALE (KDKA) – Police are investigating an alleged attempted robbery in Swissvale Monday night.

According to a witness, the incident happened at JR's Restaurant and Lounge on Noble Street around 9 p.m.

A man with a gun allegedly entered the bar and told everyone to hand over their belongings.

One person fled the bar and sought help at a nearby pizza shop, who then called 911.

Police responded within minutes, but there is no word on what may have been taken or if anyone has been arrested at this time.
