EAST VANDERGRIFT (KDKA) – Fire and hazmat crews were called out to investigate acid found in a basement at a home in East Vandergrift.

A man reportedly found the container of acid in the basement, and then took the acid and put it on the front porch.

He then called 9-1-1 to report the acid.

Hazmat crews responded to check out the situation as a precaution.
