MARS (KDKA) — A fiery two-vehicle crash in Butler County Tuesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. along Myoma Road just north of Route 228 in Mars.

Authorities say the head-on collision caused one of the vehicles to erupt in flames.

Firefighters with the Adams Township Fire Department were able rescue the drivers in both cars, including the one that caught fire.

Both were taken to local hospitals.

There’s no word on either of their conditions.

Crews cleared the accident scene around 5 p.m.
