Flood Advisory Issued For Ohio River

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A flood advisory is in effect for the Ohio River.

The National Weather Service put out an advisory Tuesday afternoon for possible flooding in Allegheny County.

The flood advisory extends until Friday morning.

Officials said Tuesday that river was already at 16.7 feet. If it reaches 19 feet, water could overflow onto the North Shore Riverwalk between the stadiums.
