PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – KDKA’s Robert Mangino sat down with the director and producer of an upcoming movie “The Journey To Normal.”

Director Juliehera DeStefano and producer Andrew Swenson talked about what inspired them to follow through with this film.

They talked about how the military is changing and how women are playing more of a role than ever before.

“Journey to Normal” explores what women experience when they return from war. The description of the women in the film reflects the change in society and how we look at women in war and help bridge the gap between the military and civilian culture.
