PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — 105-7 The Fan Baltimore midday host Rob Long joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday live from New Orleans to offer an update on the Ravens’ preparation for the Super Bowl, and to discuss the impact of the rumors that Ray Lewis used performance-enhancing drugs.

He said this sort of thing is nothing new for Lewis.

“Ray Lewis is used to handling himself amidst adversity,” Long said.

He explained that he is inclined to give Lewis the benefit of the doubt, but that the prevalence of PEDs makes him think twice about it.

“I wouldn’t have believed it,” Long said. “But I cannot have blind faith in anyone.”

Long didn’t see Lewis’ teammates being overly annoyed by the attention he has gotten, given how much of a boost it has been.
