State Rep. Mike Turzai Talks Liquor Privatization

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - State Rep. Mike Turzai spoke with KDKA's Mike Pintek Thursday about Gov. Tom Corbett's LCB privatization plan.

Gov. Corbett believes shutting down the state-owned liquor stores, auctioning the existing wine and liquor store licenses and opening beer and wine sale to places like supermarkets and convenience stores will raise millions of dollars to fund education and give Pennsylvanians what they want - more choice and convenience.

Rep. Turzai believes the plan will "help generate more revenue for the state and that the more enthusiasm there is, the more things will get done."

Listen to Mike Pintek every weekday from noon-3 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
