PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) –Range Resources Spokesman Matt Pitzarella and KDKA’s Robert Mangino discussed the newest information on liquefied natural gas exporting in Pennsylvania.
Also, President of The Center for Liquefied Natural Gas Bill Cooper joined the show to give his feedback from today’s House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Energy and Power hearing held in Washington, D.C.
“Participants in today’s hearing confirmed again that the U.S. has abundant supplies of natural gas and more than enough to allow for exports while also meeting growing domestic demand,” Cooper said. “The ability to export natural gas represents a window of opportunity to create more jobs, generate more public revenues and reduce our trade deficit. We can reap those benefits as soon as the U.S. Department of Energy officially resumes the approval process for proposed LNG export projects.”
