Police: Man Breaks Into Bar Because He Was Thirsty

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Castle Shannon police say a man broke into a local bar, because he was thirsty.

On Tuesday night, Castle Shannon police responded to the Castle Tavern on Library Road for a burglary alarm.

When police got there, they found a broken window on the south side of the business.

That's when they also saw a man sitting in the dining room of the bar.

They surrounded the bar, and took James William Ohanlon into custody.

Officers found a metal bar in the business that they say Ohanlon used to break the window, and an open cold beer on the bar.

When they questioned him, they say Ohanlon broke into the bar, because he was thirsty.
