Woman Carjacked In Munhall, Car Still Missing

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Munhall Police are investigating a carjacking that took place early Sunday morning.

Munhall Police Chief Pat Campbell says a woman pulled into a Sunoco gas station to buy a cup of coffee.

She was on her way to work at the time.

She turned her car off, but left the door unlocked.

When she returned to her car and started driving away, the man appeared from the back seat. Campbell said she was forced to drive - at gunpoint - to an ATM machine, where she withdrew $500.

After forcing the woman out of her car, the suspect drove off.

The woman's car, a 2005 silver Chevy Equinox with license number GYB3974, is still missing.

The woman also said she didn't get a good look at the suspect because he told her he would kill her if she looked at him. She said all she could see was his hand and believes he is a white male.

"She never got a good look at his face,  because he threatened her, she seen his hand with a gun, it was  white skin color," Campbell said.

Campbell said the woman was shaken up, but otherwise unhurt.
