Bridgeville Home Damaged By Fire Again

BRIDGEVILLE (KDKA) -- Cheryl Pulford said she thought it was a bad joke when she got a call from her neighbor Thursday night who told her that her house was on fire in Bridgeville.

Pulford and her 17-year-old daughter were forced out of their home on May Avenue between Perret Street and Crestvue Drive just last month because of a fire.

On February 18, Pulford had just parked her car in her attached garage when the vehicle caught fire, damaging the home.

Pulford said the insurance company gave her the okay this week to begin renovations after last month's blaze.

"This is going to take a while to sink in," Pulford told KDKA-TV News.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause of Thursday night's fire.
