PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Firefighters worked to put out a blaze after a school bus caught fire Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 500-block of Wilkins Township.

The bus was at A.J. Myers Bus Garage when it caught fire and also damaged the buses on either side.

Officials say the bus was fully engulfed in flames and there was a lot of smoke by the time they got on scene.

“It was a complete loss,” Fire Chief Frank Derzak said.

Police say no one was hurt in the incident.

No word on what caused the fire.
