Caufield proclaimed that the Pens are “the best team playing the game,” explaining that absolutely everything seems to be working out for them right now.
He added that he thinks goaltending will be the key to the Pens’ maintaining momentum as the playoffs draw nearer.
Caufield also lauded mid-season addition Mark Eaton for playing at the level that the veteran defenseman did during his first stint with the Penguins.
