Errey: 'Islanders Are Beginning To Believe'

PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--The motto for the New York Islanders in the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs is "Believe." Bob Errey joined the Fan Morning Show on Monday and said that the Isles are beginning to do just that.

After a blowout in Game 1, the play has been more even for Game 2 and 3.

"It's not what the Penguins are doing," Errey said of a weekend split, "The Islanders are beginning to believe."

Marc-Andre Fleury has been stellar at times, but below average at times in this series.

"I think Marc-Andre Fleury has been okay," Errey said, "But, thankfully, the guy at the other side has been awful."

Simon Despres played his first game of the series on Sunday and seemed to be lost on the ice. Bob thinks that will be the only time we see him in the series, because Dan Bylsma will not experiment with who will play in the lineup. The guys who are playing best will get the ice time.
