Mayor Speaks About Grand Jury Investigation

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Mayor Luke Ravelstahl is speaking out after two bodyguards and his secretary were called to testify before the Grand Jury on Wednesday.

Ravenstahl said his office will continue to cooperate with the investigation. The mayor was in City Council chambers Thursday morning for the promotion ceremony of two sergeants. After the swearing in, he spoke briefly with reporters, but he wouldn't take questions.

He also did not shed any light on whether he is a target of this Grand Jury investigation.

"As I said yesterday, we have continued to cooperate with the authorities and we will continue to do that. I am not going answer questions about anything specifically from yesterday. We've cooperated from the beginning and will continue to do that and like i said look forward to the revelation of all the facts,"

The mayor had nothing more to say and it appears that he will not be taking specific questions until this grand jury has completed its work.
