PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a 13-year-old was the victim of a hit-and-run.
It happened Tuesday around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 900-block of Greensburg Pike in front of the Dollar General in Wilkins Township.
Police were looking for a yellow Chevy Camaro after the incident.
The driver was identified and taken into custody Wednesday.
The boy who was hit did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Some of the charges the driver faces include accident involving personal injuries, not properly being licensed, leaving he scene of an accident involving injury.
Officials have not released his identity.
