PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An explosives expert team was called to Allegheny General Hospital for a suspicious package early Monday morning.

According to officials at the scene, the package was found in the 320 East North Parking Garage. The garage is for employees and is detached from the hospital.

Security was notified about something that appeared to be suspicious, which led to the incident.

The explosives team was called to the Hemlock Street side of the garage.

The section of Hemlock Street that runs behind the hospital was blocked off for a short period of time.
