Local Mom Says She Found Son In Car With Stranger

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police are investigating an incident in the Perry South neighborhood after a mother claims she found her 5-year-old son in the car of a strange man just a few doors down from their Strauss Street home.

The woman, who did not want to be identified, told KDKA-TV's Ralph Iannotti that she left her children outside playing, and she ran indoors for a moment to get her cell phone.

When she came back out, her boy was in a car with a man she never saw before.

The man said he was teaching the boy how to play the piano.

She grabbed the boy, and a neighbor called 911.

No charges have been filed.

Police want to interview he boy, his mother and the driver of the car, who they were able to quickly identify.
