Bouchette: 'I Wouldn't Put Too Much Emphasis On 2 Games'

PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--The Steelers lost their second straight preseason game. The concerning part is not the loss, but they way the team looked in losing the game. To discuss the issues with the Steelers, The Fan Morning Show was joined by Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette.

As for the most concerning part of last night's second preseason game,"I thought the line play," Ed said, "That has to be discouraging to them." But, there was plenty of things to gripe about.

As for positive signs, Ed pointed out that rookie, Jarvis Jones had a solid game that included a forced fumble. Also, Jonathan Dwyer impressed Ed, saying that he thinks the fumble was an issue, but aside from that, he ran the ball very effectively.

Markus Wheaton continues to impress in camp. "He has good enough speed, that, if he does the other things, he could be a big pickup," Bouchette said.

Ed also shares a funny tidbit on the frustrations of being forced to watch the second half of preseason football games.
