PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police say a man was found shot and killed by his son in Uniontown early Thursday morning.
Police say the shooting happened Wednesday evening, but discovered the body of 52-year-old Charles Burrelli around 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
Burrelli was found dead, likely killed from gunshot wounds.
Police say they had a tip that the shooter was someone who knew Burrelli and it turned out to be his son, 28-year-old Michael Burrelli.
Investigators say it started when both Burrellis started arguing over the younger Burrelli’s cell phone usage. It started as a verbal fight, but escalated into Michael Burrelli shooting his father several times, according to police.
No word on what charges Michael Burrelli may face.
