CECIL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A smoky fire sent emergency crews to a building in Washington County this afternoon.

The blaze broke out after 3 p.m. at a commercial building on Georgetown Road in Cecil Township.

Firefighters remained on scene into the early evening hours, trying to put out hot spots.

It’s not clear what sparked the fire.

Emergency dispatchers say the roof of the building was damaged.

No injuries were reported.
