Dehumidifiers Recalled, Linked To Fires, Burns
Several dehumidifiers have been recalled due to fire and burn hazards.
Multiple models from the brands Danby or Premiere, De'Longhi or SuperClima, Fedders, Fellini, Frigidaire, Gree, Kenmore, Seabreeze and SoleusAir.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says that 165 incidents, 46 fires and $2.15 million in damage have all been reported in connection with these dehumidifiers.
All of the products were reportedly made by Gree Electric Appliances in China.
