Ed Bochette Talks About Confrontation Between Haley & Brown

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers insider Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joins Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan for his weekly visit with the Vinnie & Cook Show.

On Wednesday morning, Bouchette broke the story of a sideline confrontation between Steelers wire receiver Antonio Brown and Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley during the loss to Cincinnati, and he shares the details.

"Antonio wasn't thrown the ball as much as he thought he should have been in the first half," Bouchette reports. "He let Todd Haley know about it on the sideline. It wasn't good, and they were still mad about it yesterday."

Bouchette notes that this isn't unusual behavior for Brown.

"There was stuff going on last year where he complained," Bouchette says. "Not a lot of us wrote about it because that stuff goes on all the time. But the fact that people are bringing this up to me makes it seem more concerning."

Bouchette also reacts to the veteran players' only meeting to be led by Ben Roethlisberger,

"If they see a need to do that, it's another red flag to me that there are deeper problems on this team than their record," Bouchette said.

He also details where the offense must improve, and notes what is at stake for the Steelers when they face the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. Hear the full interview below!
