PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Former Pirates pitcher and current color commentator Bob Walk joined The Fan Morning Show today for his weekly “Walk on Wednesday” interview.

Walk said he has gone back and forth over the past few weeks as to how the Pirates should set up their pitching for the playoffs, because Gerrit Cole has been the most consistent starter, but he is also the most inexperienced. He thinks they may end up simply rolling with the hot hand.

That being said, he expects Francisco Liriano to be the top guy in the rotation entering the postseason, given how good Liriano has been this season.

“Walk on Wednesday” can be heard every Wednesday on The Fan Morning Show at 8:40 a.m.
