Neil Walker Expecting "Steeler-esque" Atmosphere At PNC Park Tuesday

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Tickets for Tuesday's post-season game at PNC Park are going to be near impossible to get.

Right now, there aren't any available.

The Pirates say the organization will release a limited amount of tickets sporadically leading up to the game.

Meanwhile, the city is excited to have a post-season Pirates' game for the first time ever at PNC Park.

Clint Hurdle believed his team could do it this year and they certainly delivered.

Linda Herger is a lifelong Buccos fan. She traveled all the way from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati to watch the Pirates clinch a home playoff game.

"We've waited so long, we've waited so long, and it's so special," Herger said. "It's great for the city, it's great for the team, it's great for the fans."

Even those who don't have tickets say they plan to head to the North Shore on Tuesday, to be a part of the excitement.

Second baseman Neil Walker says the team is ready.

"I think it's gonna be really an exciting time, something a lot of people haven't experienced with Pirate baseball, so I'd imagine it's gonna be Steeler-esque on Tuesday," said Walker.

Game time for Tuesday's playoff game has been announced for 8.07 p.m.

A Pirates pep rally will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in Market Square.
