PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The annual Columbus Day parade stepped off in Bloomfield Saturday morning.

However, an accident left one person hurt.

A member of the Calabria Club was injured during the parade when he was hit by a bicyclist.

Police say the 56-year-old Giovanni Cimino was dancing in the parade when he was hit by someone who wasn’t riding in the parade.

Ciminio was knocked unconscious, but he was alert when he arrived at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

So far, there are no charges.

Police are continuing to investigate.
