Police Investigating Fatal Mount Oliver Home Invasion

MOUNT OLIVER (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was shot and later died following a home invasion in Mount Oliver Sunday morning.

According to police, the incident happened in the 100-block of Stamm Avenue around 11 a.m.

During the alleged home invasion, the victim was shot in the neck. He later died at UPMC Mercy Hospital.

The victim lived in a second-floor apartment with his brother and his identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made, but officers were dusting for fingerprints at the scene Sunday afternoon.
