Woman Hits Gas Instead Of Brakes, Runs Into Storefront
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman thinking she was hitting her brakes drove into a store in McIntyre Square Friday.
It happened before noon, when the driver ran into the West Marine boat store.
Apparently the woman hit her gas pedal, thinking it was the brakes, jumped a curb and continued to drive into the main part of the store.
A man who was painting nearby witnessed the crash and was nearly hit when the car stopped just a few feet from him.
No word on if the driver was injured.
