Mother, Kids Injured When SUV Crashes Into Fayette Co. Home

GERMAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A mother and two of her children were injured when their SUV crashed into a home in Fayette County this morning.

The incident was reported around 9 a.m. in the 300-block of Messmore Road in German Township.

The vehicle went about three feet into the home's living room.

According to officials, a husband and wife were inside the home at the time of the crash but were not injured.

"I'd a never dreamed, never dreamed and for the car to end up there," said homeowner Chester Poskon.

"It looks like a hurricane came through the house," he added, "especially the first three rooms."

The mother and her kids were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but before that, Poskon tried to help.

"It's unbelievable how the three of them come out of that," he said.

There's no word on their conditions.

It's also not the first time a home's been hit by a car in the same small stretch. State Police continue to investigate what happened. Speed, like the other incidents, is believed to have played a role.
