State Police Make 1 Arrest In "Large-Scale Heroin Operation"

PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- One person has been arrested in what state police are calling a large-scale heroin operation.

Police confiscated thousands of bags of heroin, as well as marijuana, two loaded guns and thousands in cash from a home on Emrose Drive in Penn Hills.

The man arrested has been identified as Trey Alexander Clark.

KDKA asked Clark about the allegations.

"Just doing dumb [expletive]. It is what it is, you know what I'm saying," Clark said. "Right dude, wrong time, wrong place. I'm not perfect."

The street value of those 9,000 bags of heroin is well over $100,000.

Clark was a little less forthcoming when KDKA's Kym Gable asked him, specifically, about that drug that's become a dangerous threat throughout the region.

Gable: "So, you're admitting to having all of that heroin?"

Clark: "I mean would it even help me not to admit? I mean, it is what it is."

Detectives found even more evidence in the basement where they say Clark was allegedly also growing marijuana.

Gable: "Police say this was a pretty big operation."

Clark: "No."

He'll have to answer even more questions from a judge at his upcoming hearing.
