Officials Issue Recall For Beef Jerky Products

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The USDA is alerting the public to a recall of beef jerky products.

Officials say the recalled Wyoming Gourmet Beef products were produced on various dates between Nov. 4 and Dec. 18, 2013.

About 365 pounds of the beef jerky products is under recall due to a processing deviation, according to a press release from the USDA.

They have the establishment number "EST. 44972."

Here's a list of the recalled products:

  • 3.5-oz. (CRYOVACED) packages of "ALL NATURAL ANGUS ORIGINAL FLAVOR JERKY" with case code "05AE30811"
  • 3.5-oz. (CRYOVACED) packages of "ALL NATURAL ANGUS PEPPERED FLAVOR JERKY" with case codes "06AE30821" , "05AE31021" , "05AE31711" or "05EIJ32511"
  • 3.5-oz. (CRYOVACED) packages of "ALL NATURAL ANGUS HONEY FLAVOR JERKY" with case code "04AE30921"

The products were sold in Colorado, Utah, Washington state and Wyoming. However, they were also available to buy over the Internet.

There have been no reports of illnesses.
