Fatal Shooting in Monessen

MONESSEN (KDKA)-A man is behind bars accused of shooting and killing a man in Monessen Wednesday night.

The shooting happened inside a home in the 100 block of Donner Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

When police arrived on scene they arrested Christopher Allshouse and recovered a gun.

The victim was 54 year old James Ritter, he was shot multiple times in the head and chest.

Ritter and Allshouse lived in the house together with Allshouse’s mother.

Police say the two men got into an argument which ended with the shooting.

Allshouse is expected to be arraigned on homicide charges later today.
