Truck Carrying 21 Tons Of Lime Overturns On Fort Pitt Bridge
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An accident on the Fort Pitt Bridge caused some major problems for commuters Wednesday morning.
According to police, the accident happened on the bridge around 9 a.m.
A truck carrying 21 tons of dry lime overturned on the lower deck of the bridge.
As a result, police blocked off all the ramps to the bridge.
Fortunately, there are no reported injuries.
