PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pirates’ top outfield prospect, Gregory Polanco, will not start the season with the big league.

Officials say Polanco has been sent to the Bucs’ AAA club.

According to MLB.com, just last month, the towering 6-foot-6 prospect was making his mark at spring training in Bradenton, Fla.

MLB.com went on to compare Polanco to Starling Marte, who found himself in a similar position two years prior.

However, it appears Polanco will have to wait a bit longer before heading out with the big guys.
