CLARION, Pa. (KDKA) — Several unexpected visitors caused quite a stir in a neighborhood in Clarion Thursday.
A mother bear and her two cubs showed up early in the morning on South Street and spent the entire day.
Neighbors took pictures of the excitement.
Lara Hauser says the bears spent most of the day up a tree.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission managed to put a tranquilizer dart into the mother bear.
But it took a few more hours to tranquilize her two little ones.
Eventually, all three were carted away. They reportedly will be taken to a forest where they’ll be dropped off.
