EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta!
It’s the 37th annual EQT Three Rivers Regatta and NewsRadio 1020 KDKA and 93.7 The Fan are excited to be part of this FREE exciting summertime tradition! The Regatta heats up Pittsburgh on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th! You can expect to celebrate from Noon to 10PM daily throughout Point State Park.
You don’t need to go anywhere to experience the beach this summer! For the fourth consecutive year, Sandsational will bring the beach to you with their incredible sand sculpture of the Battle of Fort McHenry in honor of the 200th Anniversary of our Star-Spangled Banner, and be along the water for the North American Powerboat Championships. Racing happens all day on July 4th!
You can watch the XPOGO World Championship Series unfold day to day, better known as Pogopalooza! Beginning during the Regatta on July 2nd is Guinness World Record Day as these athletes attempt to break individual world records. The qualifying rounds begin July 3rd along with a free “learn to pogo” exhibition area! Then it all wraps up on July 4th as the champions are crowned for their world titles.
From the History Channel, Swamp People Host Troy Landry will be signing autographs on July 2nd, and you’ll have two chances to meet John Shope and Paul Yaffee from Biker Battleground Phoenix on July 3rd and 4th.
NewsRadio 1020 KDKA will once again broadcast the EQT “Flashes of Freedom” Fireworks music put together by Zambelli on July 4th. The performance traditionally honors all men and women in uniform, dedicated to the protection, freedom and love of our great nation.
