PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Youth football is back in Hazelwood.

After falling on hard times, the Cobras Youth Football Organization is back up and running.

Dozens of kids were out there Thursday with the coaches running drills.

The organization is starting from scratch, and coaches say they are in need of equipment and donations.

For the kids in the community, it’s a chance to get outside and learn the game of football. Plus, a lot more.

The league needs everything from uniforms to buses to take kids to games to money for referees.

To donate, you can find Hazelwood Cobras on Facebook, email or call 412-478-8299 for James Cole, President of Hazelwood Cobras Youth Football Organization.
