According to emergency officials, the two people inside the vehicle had to be cut out by firefighters. But both were able to walk to the ambulance.

Both occupants were in their 70s.

They were taken to St. Clair Hospital for treatment.

There’s no word on their conditions.

The woman who was driving reportedly told officials that she didn’t see the flashing lights that indicate the T is coming through.

Workers performed a test and found the lights to be in working order.

A citation could be issued in the incident.

Outbound T traffic had to be stopped as a result of a accident.
