Water Main Break Closes Down Road In Strip District

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A water main break created quite a wet, muddy mess in the Strip District this afternoon.

The break happened just before 1 p.m. and sent water down 28th and Railroad Streets.

Water could be seen bubbling up from the road and pooling further down the street.

Officials say a drain near the break was handling most of the water.

But crews still had to block off the street to clean up the mess.
