Police Seek Suspect In Hopewell Twp. Bank Robbery

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery this afternoon in Beaver County.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. at the ESB Bank in the 2200-block of Brodhead Road in Hopewell Township.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank and asked the teller for cash.

He’s described as a white male between 30 to 40 years of age, about 5-foot-10, with brown hair and a stocky build. Police say he was wearing a gray suit and white shirt.

Police say no weapon was seen during the incident, but the suspect did keep his hand in his pocket indicating he might have had a gun.

He got away in a white SUV or van.
