Somerset Co. Crash Leaves 1 Man Dead

SHADE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) –Police are investigating after one person was killed in Somerset County crash Sunday.

According to police, the accident happened on Monument Road, near Browning Road, in Shade Township.

A 1998 Honda Civic being driven by Christopher Maddy, 23, of Cairnbrook, lost control and went off the road.

After leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a utility pole, and rolled over.

Maddy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
