CBS Sports Analyst Dan Fouts: "Big Ben Is The Key"

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- CBS Sports Analyst and former Hall of Fame Quarterback Dan Fouts joined The Cook and Poni Show to help preview the Steelers-Browns opener Sunday at Heinz Field.

"It's a tough division," Fouts said. "The big key is Big Ben and keeping him healthy."

Fouts says that he expects the Steelers to use the no huddle offense quite a bit having the luxury of opening at home.

"You want to eliminate as many penalties and mistakes as you can so it's always good to play that first week at home," Fouts added.

Fouts says that he could easily see the Steelers making the no huddle offense as the base offense because it fits Ben Roethlisberger perfectly.

"He is a take-charge kind of guy and he enjoys this style of offense," Fouts said. "It puts the defense on edge. It puts where they can't really relax and they have to be ready at any time for whatever the offense will present them."

Fouts said he is not sure if we will see Johnny Manziel line up at Quarterback or not on Sunday but he admits he would like to see it.

"That is the million-dollar question right now is will he play," Fouts said. "I know he is prepared to play and I know the Steelers are prepared to see him play."

Fouts said he is not sure where he comes down on Manziel yet because he has only see what he did in college and he is not sure if that translates to the NFL.
