Steelers Fans Unimpressed Following 31-10 Loss To Browns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Steelers are coming off back-to-back 8-8 seasons and both times they missed the NFL playoffs.

After being dominated in a 31-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Steeler Nation has reason to be concerned.

The fans agree with Bill Cowher saying there are big problems within the organization.

"They will have a team meeting today and they will look at each other and they will say 'We are a lousy football team. How do we fix it?'" former Steelers punter Josh Miller said.

It's all the fans wanted to talk about on 93-7 The Fan Monday morning.

"It's real easy right now to come out and criticize the Steelers isn't it when you lose 31-10 to the Cleveland Browns?" 93-7 The Fan host Gregg Giannotti said.

The Steelers scored first when they had to settle for a 20-yard field goal. They botched another field goal try on their next trip into the Browns' territory.

From then on, it was all Cleveland.

"It was a bad game. They can do a lot better than that," Jim Brown said.

The browns gashed the Steelers on the ground and through the air and fans are fed up.

"We need Bill [Cowher] back. We need him to come back," Barb Collins said. "I don't know, he just had something that we don't have anymore. We need it back."

"They get frustrated too fast. I mean, they started out great yesterday and then all of a sudden, they lost composure and got frustrated," Ed Derosky said.

Fortunately, the next three games for the Steelers will be played back here at Heinz Field.
Perhaps a Monday night date against the Houston Texans will be exactly what the doctor -- and the fans -- ordered.
