Investigation Continues Into Rehab Center Patient's Death
FARMINGTON (KDKA) -- The investigation continues today into the death of a Fayette County rehab facility patient who was discovered in a pond over the weekend.
Michael Cameron was found dead Sunday morning in a pond near the Another Way Recovery Home in Farmington where he was getting treatment for drug addiction.
According to state police, another patient found the 21-year-old's body just before 8 a.m.
Cameron's family is reportedly set to meet with police investigators today.
Family said Cameron had been at the facility for almost two months. His brother said Cameron was optimistic about completing the program.
"I promised him he could come stay with me," Taylor said. "He knew what he had to live for. That's what I'm getting at."
An autopsy was set for Monday. It could also take several weeks until the toxicology reports are complete.
