Late Night Tailgating: Cincinnati Chili

STEELERS LATE NIGHT "Late Night Tailgating Recipes": Cincinnati Chili
Cincinnati Chili
This Goes From One To Five Ways
Ingredients:
- 1 quart cold water
- 2# ground beef
- 2 cups crushed tomatoes
- 2 yellow onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup chili powder 1tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 bay leaf whole
- ¼ teaspoon ground clove
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1½ teaspoon salt
- 1# spaghetti
- 1 bag oyster crackers
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Add beef to water and simmer for 30 minutes until fully cooked.
- Next add all the seasonings simmer on low uncovered for 3 hours until chili becomes thick.
- Next serve immediately.
Chili Variations:
1 way = just the chili
2 way = chili over pasta
3 way= chili spaghetti and cheddar cheese
4 way= chili, spaghetti, cheddar and onions
5 way= chili, spaghetti, cheddar, onions and beans
