Report: Free Agent Cornerback Set To Visit With Steelers

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Still in need of depth in their secondary, the Steelers will reportedly meet with free agent cornerback Sterling Moore of the Dallas Cowboys.

As Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com writes, the report was first broken by ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The four-year veteran had 46 tackles and 13 passes broken up but zero interceptions for the Cowboys in 2014.

Moore played collegiality at SMU and broke into the league with the New England Patriots where he played parts of two seasons.

Moore has been with the Cowboys for the past two-and-a-half seasons where he recorded one interception.

For his career, Moore has three interceptions, one which he returned for a touchdown.

Moore became a free agent when the Cowboys declined to tender the restricted free agent an offer.

Our Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette from The Post-Gazette said on The Cook and Poni Show Tuesday that the Steelers are more likely to sign Moore than Patrick Robinson who visited the team on Monday.
