Officials Mum After Freeport Area HS Teacher Investigated

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – No one has laid out what an un-named teacher allegedly did in the Freeport Area School District.

But whatever it is, it is being investigated by the Buffalo Township Police Department.

Initial reports indicated there was an accident at the Freeport Area High School, but that has not been confirmed. There was a Buffalo Township police cruiser parked in front of the school mid-morning.
But Buffalo Township Police were not available to comment.

Around mid-afternoon, the school district released a statement saying:

"The school district is aware of the ongoing investigation of one of our teachers. The affected teacher has been removed from the classroom pending the results of the law enforcement investigation."

Meantime, what happened, when it happened and if it happened on school property are still unanswered questions.
