Police: Drunk Man With Gun Arrested For Making Death Threats, Showing Penis To Child

VANDERGRIFT (KDKA) – A Westmoreland County man is facing charges after allegedly threatening and exposing himself to several people, including a child, while intoxicated.

According to police, the incident happened in a parking lot near Columbia Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses told police, Mark Brink threatened to beat them up and kill them. During that exchange, he allegedly pulled out his penis and began angrily gesturing at them.

One of those victims was an 11-year-old boy.

When police arrived at the scene, they observed Brink staggering and yelling at several children and adults.

After swearing at police, Brink told officers he had a gun and lifted his shirt to prove it. Officers attempted to arrest Brink, but he became combative.

Eventually, officers were able to take him into custody and transported him to the police station.

There, he attempted to shove officers and escape before being placed in a holding cell. Once inside the holding cell, Brink began spitting profusely - to the point that a cleaning crew had to be called.

Brink is facing a list of charges including, terroristic threats, harassment, indecent exposure, public drunkenness and resisting arrest.
