Woman Arrested In 2014 Torture Death Of Blawnox Man

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Samantha McMunn is hoping her family can now start the healing process after the arrest of a woman in connection with the April 2014 torture death of her brother, Andrew McMunn.

Samantha, of Blawnox, told KDKA-TV's Ralph Iannotti Tuesday night, "My brother would have given them the shirt off his back. They didn't have to do this to him."

Andrew's body was found in a ravine near Melwood Avenue in Oakland last year.

Samantha said her 23-year-old brother was the kindest, most loving brother anyone could ask for, and now, he leaves two small children fatherless.

He suffered multiple stab wounds and bruises, and died of head injuries. His body was also partially burned.

Now charged in the case is 24-year-old Jacquelyn Nuccetelli. She faces counts of second-degree murder, criminal conspiracy and robbery.

Police say she was intimately involved in the case.

According to investigators, after initially giving investigators a bogus story about not being with Andrew the night he was killed, Nuccetelli admitted to meeting him on Facebook and going out with him several times.

An unidentified witness told investigators he overheard Nuccetelli saying to her boyfriend that she wanted to tell him something before he heard it from someone else told him.

According to the witness, Nuccetelli said something bad happened when she "setup McMunn to be robbed."

She claimed a guy named C.J., her alleged drug dealer, and a cab driver she knew, named Calvin or Dre, accidentally killed the dude [McMunn]."
