Report: Teacher Under Investigation After Breast Groping Photo Surfaces
ROCHESTER (KDKA) – An investigation is underway after a photo was posted online showing two students grabbing a Beaver County teacher's breasts.
According to the Beaver Countian website the teacher in the photo is Amy Douglas of the Rochester Area School District.
The photo was posted to Instagram in May around the time of the district's prom. Douglas, a science teacher, helped to organize the event and was also a chaperone.
"When you're put in a position like that, to be with children, you're supposed to be trusted and the kids are supposed to be able to trust you. Apparently, they can't," said Sheryl Manganello, a Beaver County resident.
One student in the picture commented on the photo which read, "Everyone be jealous we got to touch Dougies boobs." The photo has since been deleted from the social media website.
"Grossly inappropriate, that's what comes to mind," Missy Onel, a Beaver County resident, said. "Should not be happening in any district or anywhere else for that matter."
According to the report, the two female students in the picture were seniors at the school and have since graduated.
Douglas and the two students were wearing gowns at the time of the photo.
